The leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, does not expect bad results for Ukraine from the June 16 meeting in Geneva (Switzerland) between American and Russian Presidents, Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin.

“I expect positive things from the Biden-Putin meeting. Biden is highly professional, he is well informed about the situation, including in Ukraine. Therefore, I do not expect anything bad. And I believe that Nord Stream 2 has not been commissioned either, because (Chancellor of Germany Angela) Merkel is also heading to Washington,” Poroshenko said on his official Facebook page.

He noted that “we will do our best. We understand how dangerous it is to give Putin trump cards in his criminal game against Ukraine.”

“I urge you to keep your fingers crossed for Ukraine on Monday, June 14 at the NATO Summit, on Tuesday, June 15, at the European Union-United States of America summit. And keep your fingers very tight for Ukraine on Wednesday, June 16, when President Biden will meet in Geneva with President Putin,” the politician said.
