Fifth president of Ukraine, leader of the European Solidarity party, MP Petro Poroshenko discussed the Ukrainian-Turkish strategic partnership with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the party said on its website.

The meeting was held within the Antalya diplomatic forum at a high level, where Poroshenko was invited by the Turkish government.

The conversation was devoted to the discussion of the possibilities of strengthening the defense capability of Ukraine, European Solidarity said.

“We agreed that in these difficult times it is important to strengthen the Ukrainian-Turkish strategic partnership as a reliable guarantee of security and stability in the Black Sea region,” Poroshenko said on Facebook.
