You're reading: Poroshenko files to Rada package of bills on abolition of e-declaration for anti-corruption organizations

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has submitted a package of bills regarding the abolition of e-declaration for anti-corruption public organizations to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.

According to the presidential press service, the matter concerns the draft laws on amendments to the Tax Code and on amending certain legislative acts to ensure openness to the society of information on financing public associations and using international technical assistance.

On the eve the bills were presented during a meeting with representatives of public organizations.

“As we agreed, the bills have been prepared, I’m submitting them,” Poroshenko said.

The president stressed he expects support for these documents at first reading from the parliament. He noted comments and suggestions from public organizations can be made when preparing the bill for second reading.

“A number of remarks made by public organizations were taken into account after the meeting,” the presidential press service said.
