President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has by his decree dismissed commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Yuriy Alerov.

Alerov has been dismissed by presidential decree No. 196 dated May 7, 2019, the presidential press service said on May 7 evening,

“By another decree, the head of state appointed Mykola Balan Acting Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine,” the message said.
