Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko believes that during negotiations between the representatives of Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the decisions of the Stockholm Arbitration under on the contracts between Naftogaz Ukrainy and PJSC Gazprom should be taken into account, which will allow finding a reasonable balance in the issue of gas prices.

“A dialogue with the fund is necessary. The adoption of decisions by the Stockholm Arbitration, changes in price parity are the new circumstances that must be taken into account. I am confident that the Ministry of Finance that conducts these negotiations and other parties will do their best to find a reasonable balance between the need for cooperation with creditors and the interests of Ukrainian households,” the president said at a meeting with representatives of the business community in Kyiv.
