Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated Estonia and the Estonian people on the 100th anniversary of independence.

“On behalf of the Ukrainian nation and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate Estonia and friendly Estonian people on the 100th anniversary of their Independence Day!” he wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday.

He wished success to Estonia, as well as peace and prosperity to the Estonian people.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin also congratulated Estonia on this anniversary.

“We are happy, enjoying excellent relations between Ukraine and Estonia, and are sincerely grateful for the continued support and assistance of Estonia,” he wrote on Twitter.

On Saturday, February 24, Estonia marks the 100th anniversary of the creation of an independent Estonian state.
