President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a meeting with French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in New York discussed the situation in Donbas and approaches to the implementation of the initiative to deploy a UN peacekeeping mission in Ukraine’s east.
“The leaders of the two states coordinated positions on further work within the Normandy format and approaches to the implementation of the initiative to deploy a UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas,” the presidential press service said on Sept.20.
