Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has discussed topical items on the agenda and progress in the reforms and the effort to strengthen Ukraine’s stability with the G7 and EU ambassadors, the presidential administration said in a statement.
“Petro Poroshenko has thanked G7 and EU member countries for their firm and resolute support for the restoration of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the administration said.
The meeting focused on coordinated international effort towards deploying a multinational peacekeeping mission in Donbas.
Poroshenko underlined that the mission should maintain its presence throughout Donbas.
The sides also discussed the progress of Ukrainian reforms and the support of G7 and EU member countries for Kyiv’s efforts in this area.
