Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) on the happy ending of the special operation aimed at protecting Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko and ordered that he and his family be guarded around the clock.
“I congratulate the SBU. You have conducted a brilliant operation to protect the life of Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko. […] Moscow is hardly likely to settle down – I have ordered that Arkady and his family be provided with 24-hour security,” Poroshenko wrote on Facebook on May 30 evening.
