Poroshenko: Pace of reforms in Ukraine not to decrease ahead of 2019 elections

The pace of reforms in Ukraine on the eve of the elections will not change, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said.

“I assured the EU leaders that the Ukrainian government and I as the president will not slow down the pace of state reform, despite the approach of the election cycle in Ukraine in 2019,” the president said after the meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy – Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini in Kyiv on Monday.
