President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has issued a decree enacting the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) dated Sept. 16, 2016 on the application of special personal economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).
Corresponding decree No. 467/2016 dated 2016 was posted on the website of the Ukrainian president on October 17.
According to the document, the NSDC decision dated Sept. 16 provides for the extension and use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions), proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers (resolution No. 639-r of August 31, 2016), the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine.
