President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko declares his intention in the near future to submit to the Verkhovna Rada an amendment to the Constitution on securing Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and to NATO.
“In the near future, I will hand over the draft amendments to the Constitution – an amendment that will consolidate our two strategic goals … – Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and Ukraine’s accession to NATO,” the president said during celebrations on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine in Kyiv on Thursday.
