Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has given the European Council’s President Donald Tusk lists of personnel and vessels of the Russian Federation that were involved in the November 25 act of aggression near the Kerch Strait.

“The President of Ukraine called on the EU’s leaders to condemn the aggressive actions by Russia and demand that free navigation be restored there and 24 Ukrainian naval personnel and three warships be released immediately without any conditions. The President of the European Council was provided with lists of Russia’s personnel and ships involved in the act of aggression,” the Ukrainian presidential press service said in a statement on December 12 night.

Poroshenko stressed the need for the EU to give a strong and adequate response to the November 25 act of aggression by Russia against Ukraine to resist the strategy of “a crawling occupation” by the Kremlin of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait.
