President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko fears that Russia could use military contingent in Transdniester for an attack on Ukraine.
The Russian military contingent in the south-west – in the Transdniester region of Moldova, uncontrolled by Chisinau, can also be used at any time for an attack on our territory and threatens our borders,” the president said, speaking at the operational meeting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kyiv on Feb. 22.
