President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that early election refer to political risks that jeopardize economic growth and reforms in the country.
“I regularly study the issue of public opinion and do not see a single prospect that a parliament with a greater reformer potential than the one that is currently working, should be elected as a result of an early vote.” The election campaign would delay reforms for six months or even a year,” Poroshenko said during the meeting of the Regional Development Council in Kyiv on March 20.
According to the president, political risks that pose a threat to the economic growth of the country, “certainly include early election.”
