Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko plans to make a working trip to the Polish village of Sahryn on Sunday, July 8, a well-informed diplomat has told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, the Ukrainian president will make the trip on the same day when Polish President Andrzej Duda will visit Volyn region.

“We offered the Polish side to honor the memory of those killed both in Ukraine and in Poland together, but the Polish side rejected such an offer,” the diplomat said.

It emerged that the agency, the protection of Polish diplomatic institutions in Lviv and Lutsk on this day would be strengthened to prevent any provocations.
