Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko and President of the European Council Donald Tusk during a phone conversation exchanged views on the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
Tusk expressed full support for Ukraine and noted that the agreement should remain in force, the Ukrainian president’s press service said.
The European Council president stressed that Ukraine fulfilled all the criteria necessary for the introduction of the visa-free regime. According to him, the EU should complete certain internal procedures to cancel visas for Ukrainians, the press service said.
The officials agreed to continue contacts at the highest level.
