Incumbent Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Batkivshchyna Party leader Yuliya Tymoshenko and rock musician, the leader of the Okean Elzy band, Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, top the rating of candidates in possible presidential elections.

According to a sociological survey conducted by the Socis Center for Social and Marketing Research, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, the Rating Sociological Group and the Razumkov Center with the support of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, if the presidential elections were held on Nov. 26, 9.8 percent of those polled would vote for Poroshenko (11.9 percent among those who will go to the polls), 8.8 percent for Tymoshenko (10.7 percent of those who will go to the polls), and 7.4 percent for Vakarchuk (9 percent of those who will go to the polls).

Opposition Bloc leader Yuriy Boyko would have received support from 5.7 percent of those polled (6.9 percent of those who will go to the polls).

The survey was conducted from Oct. 28 to Nov. 14. A total of 20,000 respondents were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The poll’s margin of error does not exceed 0.7 percent.
