Ukrainian military have restored a bridge destroyed by Russian occupation forces in the Papasniansky district of Luhansk region, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said.

“The Ukrainian military restored this bridge near Popasna, which was damaged by the invaders in 2014. Now military and civilian transport is moving here again,” Poroshenko wrote on his official Twitter account on Saturday evening.

The president of Ukraine noted that Ukraine is gradually repairing damaged infrastructure in Donbas.

“This bridge, like hundreds of other objects that are gradually being repaired in the Ukrainian Donbas, clearly demonstrates that as long as the devastation reigns in the territories occupied by Russia-led forces, Ukraine is being restored!” Poroshenko said.
