Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will pay an official visit to Denmark in the near future, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
“The official visit of Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko to Copenhagen will be held soon and provide a new impetus to the mutually beneficial cooperation,” the foreign ministry said on March 30 after a meeting of Danish Ambassador to Ukraine Ruben Madsen and Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine for European Integration Olena Zerkal.
The Danish diplomat assured that his country will continue to provide every possible assistance to Ukraine, including practical assistance in implementing systemic reforms.
“Denmark will help Ukraine to become an economically and socially prosperous country,” the ambassador was quoted by the Foreign Ministry’s press service.
Madsen also noted the importance of attracting Danish experience in the field of energy efficiency.
