Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is to pay a working visit to the United States on September 18 through September 21 to take part in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) and meet with leaders of some countries.

The press service of the head of state reported that Poroshenko is to deliver a speech during the general debates of the UNGA, to take part in the debates of the UN Security Council devoted to UN peacekeeping operations, high-level meeting regarding reformation of the UN and the meeting on preventing terrorist use of the Internet.

The Ukrainian president is to hold several bilateral meetings with leaders of several counties, including U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UNGA.

Poroshenko is to meet with leaders of Ukrainian community in the United States, representatives of Crimean Tatar organizations and representatives of leading U.S. political and business circles.
