Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated Artem State Joint-Stock Holding Company (part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern) on successfully testing 152mm artillery shells.
“Ukraine has received its own production of large-caliber artillery ammunition! I congratulate Artem State Joint-Stock Holding Company, part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern, on successful fire tests of 152mm artillery ammunition,” the head of state wrote on his Facebook page on March 14.
Poroshenko said that the state continued to strengthen the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, Artem successfully carried out fire tests of 152mm artillery ammunition of its own production.
“Ukraine has received its own production of artillery ammunition of large calibers,” the concerns’ press service quoted Ukroboronprom Director General Pavlo Bukin as saying.
