A new coalition could be formed in the Verkhovna Rada’s eighth term, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s parliamentary representative Iryna Lutsenko said.

“If the policy proposed by deputies of various factions fully coincides with that adhered to by the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, then everything’s possible, ” Lutsenko told journalists in the hallways of parliament on May 17 when asked whether the Bloc’s faction was prepared to take part in forming a new coalition in the current parliament.

Earlier on May 17, Lutsenko said that she had written her letter of resignation.

Speaker Andriy Parubiy announced the termination of the European Ukraine coalition’s operation on May 17 morning.
