The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) has opened a criminal case against member of the Servant of the People faction Oleksandr Dubinsky on alleged slander against fifth President of Ukraine, leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko, the latter’s lawyer Ihor Holovan said.

“A case has been opened against Dubinsky. The Prosecutor General’s Office, in pursuance of a court ruling, responded to MP Dubinsky’s slander against Petro Poroshenko,” Holovan said on Facebook and attached a copy of respective notice from the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
