Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will have a telephone conversation on Nov. 11 to discuss the crisis in Ukraine, including preparations for a Normandy-format summit, and also Syria and Libya, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said.
“Our president will talk on the phone with the German chancellor at 5:30 p.m. today. They’ll discuss three subjects, namely, the internal Ukrainian crisis, the Syrian settlement, and the situation in Libya,” Ushakov told journalists at a press briefing.
Putin and Merkel may additionally address preparations for a Normandy-format summit, he said.
“This matter will be brought up today with Merkel,” Ushakov said.
