Qatar Airways (Qatar) from August 28, 2017 will carry out daily flights to Boryspil airport from Doha, Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan has said.
“This was preceded by negotiations at the level of the aviation services of both countries, and the coordinated work of the ministry, the Ukrainian Embassy in Qatar, the State Aviation Service and Boryspil airport. Passengers should always have a choice, and the more airlines the Ukrainian airports choose for flights, the better the aviation industry will develop,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
In April of this year the minister informed Qatar intends to begin flights to Kyiv, however the schedule of flights was unknown.
The Qatar Airways network covers more than 140 destinations around the world, expanding annually by about 30%. The company has about 160 aircraft.
