The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has granted the request by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko about giving its consent to prosecution of MP Oles Dovhy of the People’s Will parliamentary group.
The corresponding decision was supported by 251 lawmakers at the plenary session on July 11, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
In his closing speech, Dovhy asked MPs to remove his immunity from prosecution.
