You're reading: Rada speaker signs impeachment law

Ukrainian parliament speaker Dmytro Razumkov on Sept. 19 signed the presidential bill on the special procedure for dismissing the president of Ukraine from power, or impeachment, earlier approved by the parliament, and sent it to President Volodymyr Zelensky for signature.

On Sept.19 the bill was “returned with the signature of the Verkhovna Rada speaker” and “forwarded for signature to the president,” the parliament website said.
