This year, the Verkhovna Rada intends to continue legislative activities to address the issues of reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories, said First Deputy Head of Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk.

“A very important block, which we will work on this year, is the issues of reintegration of the occupied territories,” the first deputy speaker said in his video message published on the Telegram channel of the Servant of the People party.

He stressed that it is about protecting the rights of civilians who have suffered from military aggression, transitional justice, as well as issues related to indigenous peoples, which, according to Stefanchuk, “are especially important for the return of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.”
