Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko and Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Francis Malige have agreed to consolidate efforts in carrying out reforms in the Ukrainian energy sector, the land reform, and support for small and medium-sized businesses.

“We have just had a very meaningful and productive meeting with EBRD Managing Director Francis Malige and agreed to establish and launch a reform support team. The Justice Ministry will soon prepare its proposals on the work of this structure,” Petrenko wrote on the ministry’s page in Facebook.

“In addition, we have agreed to consolidate our efforts in the areas of reforms in Ukraine supported by the EBRD and involving the Justice Ministry. These are primarily energy sector, deregulation processes, reforms in support of small and medium-sized businesses, and the land reform,” the minister added.
