Reuters: With Zelensky in charge, Kolomoisky sees amicable solution on PrivatBank

Billionaire oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, after living much of ex-President Petro Poroshenko's term in self-imposed exile, has reappeared under President Volodymyr Zelensky. He attended the 16th annual Yalta European Strategy conference on Sept. 13 in Kyiv's Mystetskyi Arsenal.

Ukrainian tycoon Ihor Kolomoisky said on Sept. 13 he saw room for an amicable solution in his long battle with the authorities over the country’s largest lender, PrivatBank, now that President Volodymyr Zelensky was in power.

The fortunes of PrivatBank are seen by many investors as a bellwether for Ukraine’s business climate and could also have a bearing on whether the International Monetary Fund and other donors disburse more aid to the war-scarred country.
