YAROSLAVL/LIPETSK – Ukrainian corporation Roshen will mothball its Lipetsk confectionery factory.

The work is to be completed by the end of April.

“The factory will be mothballed, the workers have been informed about wholesale redundancy. This process will be finished by the end of April, afterwards the factory will be in this state for an indefinite period,” head of the PR department of the corporation Yekateryna Makedonska told Interfax.

According to her, mothball will apply to all industrial and infrastructure facilities.

As reported, Roshen announced the upcoming suspension of the factory in Lipetsk. Since 2013 the factory has been reducing production, staff. The remaining employees in the amount of about 700 people have been notified of the impending halt of the factory. The required notification of wholesale redundancy will be filed to the Lipetsk employment center in the near future.
