Rostov-on-Don’s Kirovsky District Court in Russia has extended the pretrial detention of four suspects in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case, NGO Crimean Solidarity said.

“Hearings on the Hizb ut-Tahrir case (second Simferopol group) involving [Crimean Tatars detained in Russia-occupied Crimea] Osman Arifmemetov, Vladlen Abdulkadyrov, Servet Gaziev, Rustem Sheikhaliev, Farhod Bazarov, Bilyal Adilov were held today, on August 12, 2019. Rostov-on-Don’s Kirovsky District Court reviewed prosecutors’ motion for extending pretrial detention,” the group said on Facebook on August 12.

According to the group, the court approved the motion, leaving the suspects in pretrial detention until November 15, 2019.
