You're reading: Rotation of US military instructors under JMTG-U takes place in Lviv

Soldiers from the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment out of the Tennessee National Guard participate have replaced the New York National Guard’s 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team at the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine at the Yarvoriv Combat Training Center in Lviv region.

The ceremony included the transfer of colors and speeches from the outgoing JMTG-U commander, Colonel Dennis Deeley and incoming JMTG-U commander, Colonel Jimmie Cole.

The ceremony consisted of partnering nations at the combat training center from Canada, Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine.

JMTG-U is part of an ongoing effort in the development of the Yarvoriv Combat Training Center.

JMTG-U hosts this year’s multinational training exercise, Rapid Trident this September.
