On May 27, Russia-led armed groups two times violated ceasefire, and shelled disengagement area near Zolote, eastern Ukraine, a press center of the headquarters of Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported.

“Today the armed formations of Russia Federation two times shelled positions of the JFO. In the area of Skhid (East) task force, not far away of Novotroyitske, the enemy opened fire on our servicemen using the automatic easel and manual anti-tank grenade launchers,” reads a report of the JFO on Facebook.

In addition, the positions of Ukrainian soldiers, who perform tasks in the area of Pivnich (North) task force near the village of Novoluhanske, fired at 82mm mortars banned by the Minsk Agreements.

“Also, the armed forces of the Russian Federation deliberately fired Zolote disengagement area No. 2 using small arms,” the JFO HQ noted.

Meanwhile, ceasefire was maintained on disengagement areas No.1 and No.3.

“Starting from this day, there have been no losses in the ranks of the JFO due amid enemy shelling,” the report said.
