Russian-led fighters in eastern Ukraine twice violated the ceasefire on January 10. The press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation has said there were no cases where they used weapons banned by Minsk accords.

“The strongholds of our troops were fired upon from grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms near the village of Novomykhailivka on the Donetsk line and outside Lebedynske in the Mariupol direction,” JFO HQ said.

Over the past 24 hours, no casualties were reported among Ukrainian troops amid the attacks by Russian-led forces.

Responding to separatists provocations, the JFO units returned fire.

“According to intelligence data, on January 9, two separatists were killed in action,” JFO said.
