Since the beginning of this Friday, Russia-occupation forces in Donbas violated the ceasefire regime once near Zolote, with no casualties recorded. Over the past day, nine attacks were recorded, as a result of which one Ukrainian soldier received a bullet wound, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters reported.

“As of 7:00 on June 18, one ceasefire violation has been recorded. Since the beginning of the day, there have been no combat casualties among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the JFO said in a morning report on its Facebook page on June 18.

So, near Zolote, the enemy opened fire from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.

Over the past day, June 17, in the area of the JFO operation, the mercenaries violated the ceasefire regime nine times. Near Pisky, the enemy fired twice from 120-caliber mortars and anti-tank grenade launchers. Near Luhanske, the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns. In the area of Vodiane, the enemy fired three times at JFO positions from 122-caliber artillery mounts, 120-caliber mortars, as well as anti-tank and automatic heavy grenade launchers. Near Novotoshkivske, the enemy fired from small arms. Near Zolote, mercenaries fired twice at positions of Ukrainian defenders from automatic heavy grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

As a result of enemy shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded. He was promptly given first aid and evacuated to a military hospital. His state of health is of moderate severity.

“The Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) informed the OSCE representatives about all the facts of violations by the occupiers through the established coordination mechanism,” the headquarters said.
