Russian-led forces violated the ceasefire in Donbas five times on May 21, according to the Joint Force Operation (JFO) Facebook page.
“There are no combat casualties among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The OSCE representatives have been notified of the actions of the Russian armed formations through the Ukrainian side of the JCCC,” the JFO said.
The separatists fired using 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns, light, anti-tank and automatic heavy-duty grenade launchers.
Pyrotechnic calculations of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on May 21 cleared more than ten hectares of territory in the JFO area and transferred 48 explosives for destruction.
