Yulia Samoilova, Russian participant in the Eurovision Song Contest, who was banned by Kyiv from entering Ukraine on March 22, does not lose hope and believes the situation may change.

“It’s very funny to observe from a distance all that [the decision of Kyiv], because I don’t understand what they saw in me, such a small girl, saw some kind of threat. Generally speaking, I’m not upset. I continue to rehearse. For some reason, I think things may change,” Samoilova said at the Channel One.

Earlier on March 22, the Security Service of Ukraine banned the Russian participant in the Eurovision Song Contest from entering the country. It is related to her visits to Crimea.
