The Executive Committee of Lviv City Council decided to declare Saturday and Sunday as working days for a number of establishments and institutions in Lviv until Nov. 30, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy has said.

“The meeting of the executive committee has just ended. It was decided that until Nov. 30, Saturday and Sunday in the territory of Lviv were declared working days for catering establishments, shopping and entertainment centers, cultural institutions, gyms, fitness centers and markets. It is impossible to introduce weekend quarantine in Lviv, since we do not have days off,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Sadovy released a scan of this decision of the executive committee.

“If tomorrow someone tries to interfere with your work, show this decision and contact the hotline by calling 1580. Our lawyers will help protect your rights,” he said.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Nov. 11 imposed a number of lockdown restrictions, in particular, banned mass events with the participation of more than 20 people, planned hospitalizations, the work of entertainment venues, and also introduced a weekend quarantine from 00:00 Saturday to 00:00 Monday.

The weekend quarantine was introduced from Nov. 14 to Nov. 30.
