Non-aligned Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deputy Nadiia Savchenko, who is under pretrial arrest in Kyiv, has requested a repeat lie-detector test.

Savchenko’s lawyer Kostiantyn Hloba said the repeat lie-detector test is necessary to “dot the ‘i’s” on whether his client is telling the truth.

As earlier reported, results of the forensic psychological examination of Savchenko with the use of a polygraph showed that the arrested MP was preparing to commit a terrorist attack in the building of the Verkhovna Rada and in the government quarter in the center of Kyiv, Ukraine’s SBU Security Service said.

“Polygraph also showed that Savchenko was preparing to commit a terrorist attack in near government buildings in Kyiv and Verkhovna Rada,” the SBU said on its Facebook on June 4, 2018.
