Ukrainian MP Nadia Savchenko has said she is ready to return the Hero of Ukraine Order of the Gold Star to President Petro Poroshenko.
“I will return the Star of the Hero to him,” Savchenko said live on the Right to Power program on the 1+1 television channel in the early hours of March 16, when asked by the presenter whether she is ready to return the order.
Savchenko stressed that she would do this with pleasure if she meets with the president, but “it’s not so easy to meet with him.”
As reported, Poroshenko presented the Hero of Ukraine Order of the Gold Star to Savchenko in May 2016.
