The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has ceased its mission in Ukraine, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Sayenko said.

“The IMF, considering … the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada and the non-formation of the new government, stopped the mission in Ukraine,” he said at the conference “Commitment, Trust, Inclusivity: Vision of Reforms for Tomorrow” in Kyiv.

IMF denied it later on May 22. The mission representatives’ told the Ukrainian media that they were “continuing their meetings with authorities.”
