The Security Service of Ukraine has notified of charges the suspects – citizens of the Russian Federation and one citizen of Ukraine – in organizing and aiding the terrorist act that led to the crash of Boeing 777 of Malaysian Airlines (flight MH17) in the sky over Donbas in 2014.

Investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the SBU compiled a report on suspicion to three citizens of the Russian Federation: Igor Girkin of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 27 (types of accomplices – organizer), Part 3 of Article 258 (the attack that led to the death of a person) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; Sergey Dubinsky of committing a crime provided for (types of accomplices – organizer), Part 3 of Article 258 (terrorist attack that led to the death of a person) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; Oleg Pulatov of committing a crime under Part 5 of Article 27 (types of accomplices – accomplice), Part 3 of Article 258 (terrorist act that led to the death of a person) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the website of the Security Service of Ukraine reported on Wednesday afternoon.

Also a citizen of Ukraine Leonid Kharchenko was notified of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 5 of Article 27 (types of accomplices – accomplice), Part 3 of Article 258 (terrorist act that led to the death of a person) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
