A reconnaissance unit of Ukraine’s armed forces has found Russsian equipment and ammunition in Zaitseve, Donetsk region, according to Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), which documented the find.

“In Zaitseve district, Donetsk region, in an area temporarily held by combined Russian-separatist militant groups, Ukrainian recon soldiers found a bullet-proof vest, helmet and should-held bazooka of Russian manufacture. It has been determined that the items belong to a militant wounded in a gun battle. The militant left them when fleeing the battle,” the SBU’s press service said on March 28.

The equipment is one more fact showing the presence of the Russian Federation in the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine. The documented items will be added to the database of supporting evidence of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
