The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) warns of a possible large-scale cyberattack on Ukrainian government institutions and private companies ahead of the UEFA Champions League final and gives its recommendations on protection from it.
“The SBU’s cybersecurity specialists are studying the next possible wave of a large-scale attack on network devices located in Ukraine. Malware that can be used by hackers has received the conditional name VPNFilter,” the SBU’s press center reported on May 23.
