A new ship of the Ukrainian Navy has been successfully tested in the open sea off Odesa.
“The ship was laid down at Kuznya on Rybalsky Plant (Kyiv) and floated out on April 23, 2019. Currently, the ship is being further equipped by the Shipyard Ukraine enterprise,” the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.
Staff at the enterprise and the crew tested the operating quality of the ship’s units and mechanisms.
“The tests revealed no operational flaws in the mechanisms. The crew has rated the ship’s capabilities positively,” the Defense Ministry said.
