The leader of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Igor Plotnitsky, has signed a decree to postpone indefinitely the local elections of heads of administration initially scheduled for November 6.

“I hereby order: that the conduct of the first elections of local heads, the date of which (November 6, 2016) was set by the LPR leader’s decree N418/01/07/16 of July 22, 2016, be postponed until further decision on an elections date,” the LPR leader said in a new decree published on his official site on Wednesday.
