Ukraine has reported 106 attacks on its positions in Donbas on March 14, the press center of the Ukraine military headquarters wrote on Facebook on March 15 morning.

“A total of 106 attacks have been recorded. Of them, mortars were used 44 times, tanks twice and [banned] 122mm artillery once. Six Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action and one was injured,” the military HQ said.

The Mariupol sector was the hottest spot. Ukrainian army positions in the villages of Vodiane, Pavlopil, and Hnutove came under mortar fire. The Ukrainian-controlled town of Maryinka was attacked by a tank, while the villages of Shyrokyne, Berezove, and Vodiane were attacked by infantry fighting vehicles. Separatist snipers were active near Hnutove, Novomykhailivka and Shyrokyne.

The town of Avdiyivka, which was cut off the power grids on March 14, remained the hottest spot in the Donetsk sector. It was under intensive fire from mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns. Later, it was attacked by a tank. Further, the Russia-backed separatists opened fire from grenade launchers and mortars to shell Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of the villages of Zaitseve and Opytne, as well as the Butivka coal mine, the villages of Luhanske, Troyitske, and Kamianka. Luhanske also came under 122mm artillery fire.

The village of Krymske in the Luhansk sector was attacked with the use of banned 120mm grenade launchers and machine guns. Snipers were active near the villages of Novo-Oleksandrivka, Zhovte, and Novozvanivka.
