You're reading: Sniper of Russia-occupation forces wounds Ukrainian serviceman in Donbas

A Ukrainian soldier has been wounded as a result of sniper fire by Russia-occupation forces in Donbas since Wednesday midnight. Since the beginning of the day, two shelling attacks of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been recorded, the press center of the JFO (Joint Forces Operation) headquarters reported.

“As of 7:00 on May 26, two violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded. Near Avdiyivka, the enemy opened fire from a sniper weapon. As a result of enemy fire, the Ukrainian defender was wounded. The serviceman was promptly provided with first aid and was taken to a hospital. The state of health of the wounded is satisfactory,” the JFO staff said in its morning update on Facebook on May 26.
